Responsibilities
- Oversee and assess data stored in AWS environments to maintain accuracy, uniformity, and fullness across systems.
- Create and automate data validation procedures, quality assessments, and anomaly detection using AWS Glue, Lambda, and SQL.
- Design and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports in Amazon QuickSight to highlight key data quality indicators and operational findings.
- Conduct exploratory analysis and data profiling to detect trends, discrepancies, and root causes of data problems.
- Collaborate with data engineering, compliance, and product departments to support data governance and assist in corrective actions.
- Record data monitoring methods, automation code, and validation outcomes for audit readiness and traceability.
- Engage in improving data processing workflows and finding automation potential within AWS data pipelines such as S3, Glue Jobs, and Step Functions.
- Support the advancement of data quality standards, documentation practices, and SLA tracking processes.
