Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of data engineers through coaching and performance development
- Oversee the design and implementation of data pipelines and ETL processes
- Ensure data systems are scalable, reliable, and performant
- Collaborate with analytics and product teams to understand data requirements
- Drive best practices in data modeling, warehousing, and integration
- Monitor data quality and implement validation frameworks
- Lead the adoption of modern data technologies and cloud platforms
- Support data governance and compliance initiatives
- Work closely with architects to align technical roadmaps
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data infrastructure issues
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Participate in capacity planning and resource allocation
- Ensure documentation standards are maintained across data systems
- Evaluate new tools and technologies for data engineering needs
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for data initiatives
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a technical or analytical discipline
- Experience in e-commerce or affiliate marketing domains
- Knowledge of data mesh or data fabric architectures
- Exposure to machine learning pipelines
- Certifications in cloud data services
