About the Role

The instructor will lead training sessions, develop curriculum content, and support learners in mastering data engineering concepts and tools, ensuring they are job-ready upon completion of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lectures and practical exercises in data engineering
  • Design and update course materials to reflect current industry standards
  • Mentor and guide students through technical challenges
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with instructional staff to improve learning outcomes
  • Integrate real-world projects into the curriculum
  • Support program goals related to equity and workforce development
  • Facilitate discussions on data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud platforms
  • Teach foundational programming and database concepts
  • Encourage problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed
  • Prepare learners for technical certifications and job interviews
  • Use learning management systems to track student engagement
  • Stay current with evolving data technologies and practices
  • Promote a respectful and inclusive classroom environment
  • Coordinate with industry partners for guest sessions or projects
  • Participate in professional development opportunities
