Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience in the industry.
- Minimum of four years in data engineering roles, ideally within cloud or large-scale enterprise settings.
- Proven experience with at least one of the following platforms: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, or Snowflake.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with working knowledge of PySpark or Spark SQL.
- Hands-on background with Azure Data Lake Storage, Delta Lake, building ELT and ETL pipelines, and implementing medallion data architectures.
- Familiarity with Power BI, semantic models in Fabric, or similar business intelligence modeling tools.
- Experience integrating data solutions with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of data governance principles, including data cataloging and metadata management via tools like Purview or Unity Catalog.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication skills and experience collaborating across teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in preparing data for AI applications, such as working with RAG datasets, embeddings, or processing unstructured text, is considered advantageous.
