QAD, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Spain. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, industrializing, and optimizing the inter-application data pipelines that power our data-driven and AI-oriented environment. You will be involved in the full data lifecycle, from ingestion to production use by data science and AI systems.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain scalable, robust data pipelines.
- Structure, transform, and optimize data within Snowflake.
- Implement multi-source ETL/ELT flows from systems like ERP, APIs, and files.
- Leverage the AWS environment, including services like S3 and IAM.
- Prepare and provision data for Data Science teams.
- Integrate AI/ML models into production systems.
- Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards are met.
- Provide input and recommendations on data architecture.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing and building data pipelines in a production environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake for data transformation and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, specifically S3 and IAM.
- Experience implementing ETL/ELT processes from various sources.
- Experience preparing data for Data Science or AI/ML workflows.
- A focus on data quality, security, and governance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

You will join a human-sized and multidisciplinary team. The role is part of our Process Intelligence (PI) team, which combines Process Mining, Real Time Monitoring, and Predictive AI functions.
