Cypher Consulting Europe is hiring a Data Engineer for a 1-year consulting assignment based in Sweden. We need a hands-on technical expert with strong Python skills and deep experience in the Azure ecosystem to deliver high-quality solutions with minimal onboarding.

What You'll Do

Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, integrations, and APIs.
Work within the Azure cloud environment, leveraging services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Functions, Storage, and related tools.
Implement and support ETL/ELT workflows, data lake architectures, and real-time or near real-time data processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver pragmatic, scalable solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For

Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience working in Azure.
Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT, orchestration, data lakes, and streaming/real-time processing.
Experience with APIs, integration patterns, and cloud-native data services.
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results under tight timelines.
