Responsibilities
- Create and manage scalable batch and real-time data workflows
- Develop and maintain RESTful and streaming APIs for event-based data collection
- Operate message queuing and streaming infrastructure to support reliable, low-latency data processing
- Design fault-tolerant streaming systems with schema evolution and data quality safeguards
- Build and manage both structured and unstructured data stores such as SQL Server and BigQuery
- Optimize queries and data models to enable efficient analytics and reporting
- Oversee enterprise data warehouses and Lakehouse environments, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
- Execute data migration, transformation, and normalization across platforms
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that generate business value
- Monitor, optimize, and resolve issues in data pipelines and databases to improve performance
- Support the integration of artificial intelligence and large language models by ensuring data quality and governance
