Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Design and optimize data storage structures in Azure Blob Storage and Data Lake
- Implement ETL processes for large-scale data ingestion
- Support data integration across multiple source systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows for consistency and accuracy
- Collaborate with analytics teams to deliver structured datasets
- Ensure data security and compliance standards are met
- Optimize query performance across distributed data systems
- Document data architectures and pipeline configurations
- Work with stakeholders to define data requirements
- Build automated testing frameworks for data quality
- Deploy infrastructure as code using ARM templates or Bicep
- Integrate data from on-premises and cloud sources
- Support real-time data streaming with Azure Event Hubs
- Use Databricks for advanced data processing tasks
- Apply version control to data pipeline development
- Participate in code reviews and technical design sessions
- Maintain metadata management and data lineage tracking
- Assist in capacity planning for data growth
- Troubleshoot connectivity and authentication issues
- Implement monitoring and alerting for data jobs
- Follow agile methodologies in project delivery
- Ensure disaster recovery readiness for data systems
- Stay current with Azure platform updates and features
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members
