About the Role
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and storage solutions using Microsoft Azure platforms. Work closely with analytics and development teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and performance across enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Implement data storage solutions with Azure Blob Storage and Data Lake
- Configure and maintain ETL processes for reliable data integration
- Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability
- Support the deployment of data models into production environments
- Collaborate with data analysts to understand reporting requirements
- Monitor data pipeline health and resolve issues proactively
- Ensure data consistency across source and target systems
- Apply data governance standards to all engineering tasks
- Document architecture designs and data flow diagrams
- Integrate data from multiple sources into centralized repositories
- Use Azure Databricks for large-scale data processing
- Write and maintain SQL scripts for data transformation
- Support data quality validation and testing procedures
- Troubleshoot data-related problems in staging and production
- Participate in sprint planning and team stand-ups
- Follow agile development practices and version control
- Implement security best practices for data access and storage
- Work with infrastructure teams on cloud resource provisioning
- Assist in performance tuning of data queries and pipelines
- Stay current with updates in Azure data services
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Support data migration initiatives from legacy systems
- Collaborate on disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Ensure compliance with regional data handling regulations
