About the Role
The selected candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, supporting data integration, transformation, and analytics workflows for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Design and implement data storage solutions with Azure Blob Storage and Data Lake
- Build ETL processes to support business intelligence and analytics needs
- Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows for performance and reliability
- Implement data security and compliance standards in cloud environments
- Optimize data models for efficient querying and reporting
- Support the deployment of data solutions in production environments
- Document data architecture and engineering processes
- Work with infrastructure teams to manage cloud resources
- Participate in code reviews and technical design sessions
- Stay current with Azure platform updates and new features
- Troubleshoot issues in data integration and processing layers
- Contribute to automation of data operations and monitoring
- Assist in defining best practices for data engineering
- Integrate data from multiple source systems into centralized repositories
- Support real-time and batch data processing workflows
- Use version control systems for data pipeline code management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data projects on time
Nice to Have
- Certification in Microsoft Azure data technologies
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
- Knowledge of data mesh or data fabric architectures
- Experience with real-time streaming platforms
- Background in financial or healthcare data domains
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools
- Contributions to open-source data projects
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Project leadership in data migration initiatives
- Advanced degree in computer science or related field
