EY is seeking a Data Engineer specialized in Oracle Data Integrator to join our Tech Financial Services (Tech FSO) unit. In this role, you will be instrumental on a large-scale international project for the financial sector, responsible for developing and leading ETL processes and implementing end-to-end Data Warehouse solutions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and lead ETL processes including control tables, error logging, auditing, and data quality frameworks.
- Implement end-to-end Data Warehouse solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and PL/SQL, working on master and work repositories.
- Configure ODI topology, create objects in Designer, and monitor execution in Operator.
- Work with different types of Knowledge Modules (KM) and agents.
- Package components and database operations (aggregate, pivot, union) within ODI mappings.
- Handle errors and automation using the ODI toolset.
- Develop and migrate ODI Load Plans and objects.
- Design and develop complex mappings, process flows, and ETL scripts.
- Customize and use Knowledge Modules (KM).
- Perform performance tuning of ODI mappings.
- Design unit test cases for ETL processes and debug mappings.
- Develop Load Plans and manage job scheduling.
- Integrate ODI with multiple source and destination systems.
- Perform recycling and error management using ODI and PL/SQL.
- Develop database components using SQL/PLSQL: create packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and materialized views.
- Perform data migration using tools like SQL Loader and import/export.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced/Fluent English (C2 level) for daily contact with an international client.
- Proven experience in ETL development and leadership.
- Good practical experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Experience in complete, end-to-end Data Warehouse (DWH) implementations.
- Expertise in the Oracle ODI toolset, including customization and use of Knowledge Modules.
- Strong skills in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL tuning for performance optimization.
- Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts, design, coding, debugging, and unit testing.
- Experience with ETL scripting, workflow design, and automation within the ODI environment.
- Familiarity with Oracle database tools and SQL analysis and tuning tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
