Responsibilities
- Design and sustain data platform infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Build and oversee CI/CD systems to automate data and AI workflows.
- Automate setup, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources on AWS.
- Apply GitOps methodologies for consistent deployment and configuration control.
- Guarantee infrastructure security, scalability, and fault tolerance via automated solutions.
- Work closely with data engineering teams to refine the data development lifecycle.
- Lead automation and infrastructure management for orchestration platforms such as Airflow.
- Maintain clear documentation of automation frameworks and deployment procedures.
Requirements
- Proven background in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong understanding of Git version control systems and branching workflows.
- Experience writing automation scripts in Python, AWS CLI, or Spark.
- Familiarity with automating and managing AWS cloud services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of two years in DataOps, DevOps, or infrastructure automation roles.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AWS data services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and Snowflake.
- Experience working with workflow orchestrators such as Apache Airflow.
- Background in data streaming platforms like Apache Kafka.
- Understanding of monitoring and visualization tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Basic proficiency in container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
