Responsibilities
- Operate, inspect, and service refrigeration and cooling systems essential to data center operations
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor fixes on HVAC and mechanical equipment following site protocols and manufacturer guidelines
- Identify root causes of mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to restore stable cooling functions
- Assist in deploying system upgrades, new installations, and approved infrastructure modifications with attention to integration
- Track equipment health, system performance, and environmental data to detect early signs of wear or risk
- Supervise and coordinate technical activities performed by external vendors during maintenance or repair work
- Record maintenance tasks, equipment status, and technical observations with precision and consistency
- Ensure tools, spare parts, and workspaces for HVAC systems are organized and ready for safe, efficient operations
- Deliver technical mechanical support during outages, audits, planned maintenance, and team-wide initiatives within defined authority
