DRW is hiring a Data Center Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the reliability and performance of worldwide data center facilities
  • Install and secure servers and related hardware in racks
  • Execute structured cabling for network infrastructure
  • Establish and uphold high operational standards across all data center activities
  • Contribute to strategic planning for data center growth and scalability
  • Track and manage environmental parameters in data center environments
  • Keep accurate records in the data center infrastructure management (DCIM) system
  • Optimize cooling and electrical systems to support facility uptime and efficiency
  • Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of direct experience in data center engineering
  • Proven background in network cabling infrastructure
  • Knowledge of HP, IBM, Dell servers, blade systems, SAN, and Cisco networking hardware
  • Prior experience with backup software platforms
  • Capable of clear and effective communication with internal teams and third-party vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent documentation abilities for recording system designs, workflows, and technical details
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Regular local travel required, approximately 75% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license is mandatory

  • Hands-on experience administering Windows and Linux servers
