Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability and performance of worldwide data center facilities
- Install and secure servers and related hardware in racks
- Execute structured cabling for network infrastructure
- Establish and uphold high operational standards across all data center activities
- Contribute to strategic planning for data center growth and scalability
- Track and manage environmental parameters in data center environments
- Keep accurate records in the data center infrastructure management (DCIM) system
- Optimize cooling and electrical systems to support facility uptime and efficiency
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of direct experience in data center engineering
- Proven background in network cabling infrastructure
- Knowledge of HP, IBM, Dell servers, blade systems, SAN, and Cisco networking hardware
- Prior experience with backup software platforms
- Capable of clear and effective communication with internal teams and third-party vendors
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent documentation abilities for recording system designs, workflows, and technical details
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Regular local travel required, approximately 75% of the time
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory
