Responsibilities
- Lead and advance key areas of Azure data architecture, delivering solution designs to implementation teams.
- Deliver architectural evaluations, strategic plans, and technology roadmaps for platforms such as ADLS and Synapse.
- Conduct cross-functional workshops to define data workflows including ingestion, validation, modeling, analytics, and AI integration.
- Design and implement Azure data services such as ADF, ADL, AMM, ADLS, Synapse, Power BI, AML, and ABS.
- Manage technical planning, requirements gathering, estimation, development, testing, and delivery of complex data projects.
- Lead design reviews, demonstrations, prototyping, testing, and training sessions with business and IT teams.
- Develop executive-level materials including presentations and architecture documentation to communicate vision and estimates.
- Support Agile Scrum teams in scoping, designing, and continuously deploying new product features to production.
- Apply comprehensive, hands-on expertise in the Azure Cloud Platform across the full project lifecycle.
- Define and guide selection of core technologies, development methods, security practices, and emerging tools to meet business goals.
- Coordinate with offshore teams and clients to resolve technical challenges, dependencies, and risks.
- Mentor development teams and provide architectural direction for building innovative data applications.
- Promote consistent architectural practices, vision, and capabilities across multiple project teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical capabilities.
- Work closely with technical architects and engineers to align design strategies with business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership that shapes strategic direction, influences beyond immediate teams, and drives architectural transformation.
