Responsibilities
- Examine existing systems and data architectures to aid in transferring data to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O and CE)
- Work with business stakeholders to grasp data needs, definitions, and ownership
- Establish data mapping, transformation logic, and cleansing rules in line with target system design
- Conduct data profiling, validation, and reconciliation to verify data accuracy and completeness
- Aid in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks alongside technical teams
- Detect and address data quality problems, inconsistencies, and gaps proactively
- Take part in various data migration cycles, including mock loads, SIT, UAT, and production cutover
- Check migrated data against business expectations and resolve differences
- Create and update data migration documentation such as mapping documents, data dictionaries, and validation reports
- Uphold governance, compliance, and data security standards throughout the migration process
- Help define data standards, naming conventions, and master data governance procedures
- Offer support during go-live and hypercare phases to fix data-related issues
Requirements
- 5–8+ years in data analysis, data migration, or data management roles
- Substantial experience with data migration projects, ideally in ERP/CRM transformations
- Practical experience with data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, or data migration/ETL tools
- Solid grasp of data structures, data quality, and data governance principles
- Experience handling large datasets in finance, customer, or project domains
- Background supporting multi-country or APAC transformation programs is beneficial
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O and/or CE) data models is a significant advantage
- Understanding of master data entities such as customers, vendors, chart of accounts, projects, and resources
- Experience in Agile or structured delivery environments
- Exposure to Azure data tools or Power Platform is advantageous
Nice to Have
- Previous involvement in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O or CE) implementations or migrations
- Experience with data migration tools like Data Management Framework (DMF), Azure Data Factory, or similar
- Understanding of finance, CRM, or project operations data domains
- Exposure to data governance frameworks or master data management (MDM) tools
- Experience in professional services or project-based organizations
