Experian is hiring a Cybersecurity Mergers and Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Lead security evaluations during mergers, acquisitions, investments, and divestitures
  • Establish cybersecurity strategies for transactions by analyzing the target's technology infrastructure, security controls, privacy practices, and third-party risk findings prior to closing
  • Evaluate cyber risks associated with deals, guide risk prioritization, and propose actions for resolution before and after transaction completion
  • Detect significant cybersecurity issues that could influence financial valuation, deal terms, or integration planning
  • Present risk insights and recommendations to business leaders, executives, and technical stakeholders
  • Assist in developing actionable remediation strategies and post-acquisition cybersecurity roadmaps
  • Oversee multiple due diligence initiatives simultaneously
  • Prepare comprehensive, well-written risk assessment reports for transactions, requiring strong documentation skills
  • Support post-transaction integration planning and coordinate resolution of identified security issues
  • Help refine internal methodologies, tools, reporting templates, and practice guides as part of team improvement efforts
  • Travel internationally up to 15% of the time, including short-notice trips
