Responsibilities
- Create and manage cyber training initiatives, exercises, and instructional sessions aligned with Department of Defense mission goals.
- Build authentic training simulations and interactive learning setups using computer systems, electronic devices, mobile technologies, and live network environments.
- Assist in planning and carrying out cyber training events, technical testing, and joint-domain exercises.
- Set up, manage, and operate Linux and Windows systems deployed in training environments.
- Incorporate and maintain diverse technologies such as surveillance systems, industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA setups, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, radio frequency (RF) systems, and other operational hardware for training use.
- Work with technical experts, engineers, and operational partners to define training content, learning outcomes, and assessment standards.
- Evaluate trainee performance and measure training impact, offering suggestions for enhancing programs and building capabilities.
- Produce and update instructional materials, course outlines, exercise briefs, and post-exercise analysis reports.
- Support the management and upkeep of cyber range infrastructure to ensure systems are operational and ready for scheduled training events.
- Ensure all training activities adhere to Department of Defense policies, cybersecurity protocols, and organizational guidelines.
