The Customer/Supplier Support Associate at Assent plays a key role in supporting the Supplier Support team by gathering compliance information from non-responsive suppliers in client supply chains. This position requires strong communication skills and fluency in Korean to assist with internal translations, webinars, and sales calls, while ensuring data quality and supporting suppliers through compliance requests.
What You'll Do
- Report to the Manager, Supplier Support
- Support the Supplier Support team in obtaining declarations and other important information from non-responsive suppliers in client supply chains
- Communicate with suppliers through a multi-channel approach including emails, chats, and conference calls to gather compliance information
- Assist suppliers with compliance requests
- Confirm quality of the documents provided by suppliers
- Work directly with top-tier suppliers to help them respond to compliance requests
- Handle emails and chats from suppliers to help them troubleshoot and navigate compliance requests
- Provide a positive experience to suppliers during support interactions
- Engage with unresponsive suppliers using emails, chats, conference calls, supplier education, and webinar invites
- Provide Korean language support for internal translations
- Host webinars in Korean
- Join prospect calls with the Sales team using Korean language skills
- Work closely with the Program Success team to strategize on approaches for new customers, client campaigns, and supplier issues
- Validate and ensure Quality Assurance for compliance data provided by suppliers
- Act as a peer mentor to Supplier Support Agents as required
- Stay up to date with new regulations and changes in Assent’s products to become an expert in the field
- Be familiar with corporate security policies
- Follow guidance set out by Assent’s processes and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business needs
What We're Looking For
- Korean language proficiency (required for internal translations, hosting webinars, and joining prospect calls with Sales team)
