As an Entry-Level Public Benefits Specialist, you'll work on-site in the Cottage Grove Branch supporting Oregonians. Remote work is not permitted for this position. Summary of Responsibilities As an Entry-Level Public Benefits Specialist you will: · Serve as primary customer interface in physical and virtual environments through application portals and telephone interactions. · Establish welcoming atmospheres during client interactions. · Engage with clients using trauma-informed approaches. · Assist Oregonians applying for medical, family financial support, domestic violence services, nutrition assistance, childcare subsidies, and long-term care services through multiple communication channels. · Collaborate within team frameworks to support organizational operational requirements. Minimum Qualifications Two years experience in reception or call center environments involving high-volume information gathering and customer service; OR Associate degree in Behavioral or Social Sciences with six months customer service experience; OR Equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
