Responsibilities
- Supervise tree crew during residential and commercial tree pruning and removals, following ANSI and company standards.
- Operate an aerial lift or bucket truck as needed.
- Apply rigging and lowering skills to safely perform tree pruning and removals.
- Perform supplemental support techniques such as cabling and bracing in accordance with ANSI Standards.
- Maintain familiarity with industry safety standards and procedures, and enforce these standards along with company safety policies.
- Accept responsibility for daily production goals and crew safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the Sales Arborist before starting work.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience leading and training a tree crew safely and productively.
- Clean and valid Driver's License.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to identify and communicate potential up-sell opportunities to property owners.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Nice to Have
- ISA Certification or CTSP is desired but not required.
- Prior experience training employees is preferred.
