HR Ratings is hiring a Credit Rating Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assess the financial strength of U.S. corporate entities using established credit evaluation frameworks.
• Review financial statements, capital composition, liquidity levels, leverage ratios, and debt commitments.
• Create, update, and improve financial models in Excel to inform credit assessments and rating outcomes.
• Conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative evaluations, factoring in financial results, industry trends, business operations, and structural elements.
• Gather and structure key data for ratings, including issuer information, market changes, and transaction details.
• Take part in internal Credit Committee meetings and assist in evaluating proposed rating actions.
• Contribute to sector-focused research, analytical reports, and the preparation of written content.
• Manage ongoing analytical responsibilities and assist in maintaining communication with rated entities as required.
• Apply and interpret internal credit rating methodologies in daily analytical processes.
• Monitor and analyze developments in industries, markets, and the broader economy that may influence creditworthiness.
