Responsibilities
- Assess credit applications using experience, data sources, and tech platform to make fast, fair, and accurate decisions.
- Have autonomy in decisioning, with scope increasing over time as knowledge builds.
- Support other analysts on larger and more complex decisions.
- Work alongside analytics teams to optimize lending approach and adapt personal approach.
Requirements
- Demonstrates curiosity to use and learn more about AI tools, comfortable using them practically to solve problems, increase productivity, and improve quality, with good judgement and ability to explain reasoning.
- Smart, humble, motivated, and always looking to improve.
- Experience in commercial loan underwriting, credit sanctioning, or credit analysis within the SME sector in Germany.
- Strong business acumen and working understanding of risk and revenue drivers influencing creditworthiness.
- Ability to interpret & analyse financial statements.
- Motivated and enthusiastic attitude working well in a regularly changing and fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in business English and German.
- Analytical mindset with practical approach to problem solving, coming up with innovative and scalable solutions and suggesting process changes.
