About the Role
To assess credit applications using experience, various data sources, and our tech platform to make fast, fair, and accurate decisions. You’ll have autonomy in decisioning, which increases over time, and support other analysts on larger and more complex decisions. You’ll work alongside analytics teams to optimize our lending approach and adapt your own in line with that goal.
Responsibilities
- Assess credit applications using your experience, a variety of data sources, and our tech platform to make fast, fair and accurate decisions.
- Exercise autonomy in decisioning, with the scope increasing over time as you build knowledge of our systems and processes.
- Support other analysts on larger and more complex decisions, which is a key part of our workflow.
- Work alongside our analytics teams to optimise our approach to lending and adapt your own approach in line with that goal.
Requirements
- Demonstrates curiosity to use and learn more about AI tools.
- Already comfortable using AI tools in practical ways to help solve problems, increase productivity and improve quality of work, showing good judgement about when to use them and the ability to explain the reasoning behind that use.
- Experience in commercial loan underwriting, credit sanctioning or credit analysis within the SME sector in Germany.
- Strong business acumen and a working understanding of the risk and revenue drivers that influence the creditworthiness of a loan application.
- The ability to interpret & analyse financial statements.
- A motivated and enthusiastic attitude that works well in a regularly changing and fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in business English and German.
- An analytical mindset with a practical approach to problem solving.
- Come up with innovative and scalable solutions to day-to-day problems and suggest changes to processes to improve efficiency.
