Intuit is seeking a Credentialed Tax Accountant for the upcoming tax season to provide expert tax advice and full-service tax return preparation to customers using TurboTax Live. This is a fully remote, customer-facing role requiring an active PTIN and unrestricted credential (CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney) with at least 2 years of paid tax experience.
What You'll Do
- Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products
- Provide tax advice, full service return preparation, and tax calculations
- Manage product/software inquiries
- Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver accurate answers
- Interact with customers using state-of-the-art video communication software
- Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records
- Deliver tax guidance using everyday language to enhance customer experience
What We're Looking For
- Active PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number)
- Unrestricted credential: CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney
- Minimum of 2 years of paid tax experience
- Experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns
- Proficiency using commercial tax preparation software
- Strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to interact professionally, confidently, and friendly via video and audio tools
