WeTravel is hiring a Creative Lead to own our visual identity and serve as the creative force behind all marketing assets. You will bring a cohesive vision to still-image and video designs across public channels, elevating our brand to attract and convert leads through strategic design and the integration of AI tools.
What You'll Do
- Own WeTravel's still-image visual identity across all public-facing materials.
- Own WeTravel's video identity across all commercial channels, including YouTube, paid ads, email, and short-form social platforms.
- Own the visual presence of WeTravel at more than 50 global conferences, adapting brand identity for cultural localization.
- Oversee the creation of all still-image graphic designs for various mediums, including event/sales materials, ads, infographics, newsletters, social media, and landing pages.
- Manage the daily workflow and project management of all graphic design tasks through Monday.com.
- Provide strategic direction on WeTravel's brand identity, including managing the visual identity document and design systems.
- Integrate AI design tools into creative workflows to increase efficiency, enable rapid prototyping, and conduct quality control.
- Lead design performance analytics, reporting on visual effectiveness (CTR, engagement, conversion) and iterating based on data.
- Manage cross-functional workflow efficiency with copywriting, marketing, and product teams to streamline design sprints.
- Oversee the creation of motion graphics and video editing for short-form content.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience managing graphic design and videography, including brand strategy and visual identity.
- Proven ability to integrate AI tools (Midjourney, Claude, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Gamma, HeyGen) strategically into design workflows while maintaining brand consistency.
- Expertise in prompt engineering and iterating generative outputs to achieve on-brand results.
- Experience managing tasks from multiple departments through management tools like Monday.com or Asana.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks to meet business goals, with examples of reworking schedules for pressing demands.
- Strong understanding of brand identity and how it works with other departments (like copywriting) to present a unified identity that converts leads.
- Experience building and designing landing pages in HubSpot and using tools like Figma for product images and design systems.
- Experience with motion graphics and short-form video editing (vertical video, quick-cut editing, animation).
- Strong communication skills, with oral and written English fluency.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience managing a design team, such as a junior designer or freelance creative contributors.
- Specific travel AND/OR fintech AND/OR SaaS AND/OR B2B design experience.
- Experience curating and integrating user-generated content into marketing campaigns.
- Experience with design systems, component libraries, or design-at-scale frameworks.
- Familiarity with multi-market localization and adapting visual identity for different cultural/regional audiences.

You will join a team of nearly 10 talented humans across events, digital, and demand generation. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
