Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and manage variable costs to maintain data integrity and resolve issues impacting the SAP costing module.
- Establish cost management processes and procedures to support precise financial reporting.
- Assist in conducting required work-in-progress and raw material inventory counts for accurate financial records.
- Track, analyze, and control actual project expenditures to support accurate monthly financial closing.
- Verify goods receipt and invoice receipt status for project items to meet monthly spending reporting requirements.
- Collect timely and accurate data from relevant departments to support reliable spending forecasts.
- Prepare and review annual budgets, including RICP and expansion projects.
- Maintain the SAP-IMPS module for investments, projects, and repairs over €100T, ensuring accurate entries and preventing overspending.
- Collaborate with Financial Accounting, Controlling, and Works Division teams to enhance SAP functionality for accurate costing.
- Ensure SAP configurations comply with Financial Reporting Manual requirements and Cost Accounting standards.
- Address and resolve issues arising in or affecting DRIVE, FIRE, or SAPHIR systems.
- Perform budget, forecast, and actual calculations for production costs.
- Gather timely and accurate inputs from departments to support forecast and budget accuracy.
- Maintain and update the scrap database.
- Provide financial performance reports and analysis to plant teams for monitoring and control purposes.
- Initiate improvements for more accurate cost capture, transparent reporting, and cost efficiency.
- Foster teamwork and maintain effective communication with cross-functional departments.
- Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and corrective measures.
- Promote awareness and communicate ESH responsibilities and obligations.
- Ensure prompt reporting and response to safety or environmental hazards, and initiate preventive actions.
- Demonstrate responsible ESH behavior and encourage others to follow suit.
