Responsibilities
- Own and execute brand-aligned copy across email, landing pages, ads, product pages, and social media
- Deeply understand the brand’s tone, voice, and customer psychology
- Write high-converting, performance-driven copy for paid media and lifecycle campaigns
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and growth teams to align messaging with campaign goals
- Adapt messaging across different audiences, formats, and funnel stages
- Contribute to A/B testing (hooks, headlines, CTAs, angles) to improve performance
- Ensure consistency in brand voice across all outputs
Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a Copywriter within DTC or eCommerce brands
- Exceptional English writing skills (native or near-native fluency)
- Strong understanding of brand voice, tone, and storytelling
- Experience writing for performance marketing (ads, email, landing pages)
- Ability to balance creativity with conversion-focused thinking
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-output environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
Nice to Have
- Experience in lifestyle, wellness, or apparel brands
- Familiarity with UGC-style ad scripting and hook creation
- Experience with lifecycle marketing and platforms like Klaviyo
- Exposure to global or South African English-speaking audiences
