We’re looking for experienced contract developers who specialize in either Drupal or WordPress to join our fully remote team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of hands-on development tasks, including site configuration, custom theme creation, and building or maintaining modules and plugins. You’ll work directly with clients, contribute to code reviews, and help refine our development processes.
What You'll Do
- Develop and configure websites using Drupal or WordPress, depending on project needs
- Build custom front-end themes and components, ensuring alignment with modern standards
- Create and maintain custom modules or plugins to extend platform functionality
- Write clear documentation and participate in peer code reviews
- Engage in client meetings and collaborative workshops to understand project goals
- Support ongoing improvements to our development workflows and technical practices
What We're Looking For
- At least four years of hands-on experience with either Drupal or WordPress
- Proven experience in a support or agency setting, ideally across multiple time zones
- Strong command of modern development tools: command line, gitflow, containers, and dev/stage/prod workflows
- Firm grasp of web standards and best practices in accessibility and performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with pattern libraries such as Storybook
- Familiarity with React.js
