About the Role

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Content Lead - SEO to shape how content drives audience growth, product adoption, and brand awareness. In this strategic, creative role, you will craft compelling, data-informed narratives that engage users across the funnel, working at the intersection of marketing, SEO, product, and editorial.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development of high-impact, evergreen content that drives SEO growth and boosts visibility across digital platforms.
  • Maintain a content calendar and manage communication with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure campaign alignment.
  • Use traffic insights and SEO tools to monitor performance, adjust strategies, and recommend new topics based on data trends.
  • Develop omni-channel content briefs that support product feature adoption and expand efforts into new formats and channels.
  • Collaborate with SEO and product teams to guide new content marketing features on web and app platforms.
  • Identify and test emerging storytelling methods and mediums to enhance audience engagement and content reach.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in content or web marketing, ideally within a consumer-facing or DTC business.
  • Strong editorial, writing, and content development skills with a proven ability to create content that converts.
  • Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and tools such as SEMrush, Google Trends, Profound, GA4, and Keyword Planner.
  • Ability to extract actionable insights from performance data to inform content strategy and ideation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing content collaboration with designers, agencies, and freelance contributors.
  • Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring projects stay aligned with business goals and timelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, English, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.

Nice to Have

  • SEO and AI tool certifications and experience with experimentation (A/B testing, formats, mediums) are a plus.
