Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain secure container images and orchestrate deployments following security and efficiency standards.
- Monitor container performance and fine-tune resource usage for optimal efficiency.
- Construct and manage automated CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and updates.
- Deliver technical support and resolve issues related to containerized environments.
- Work closely with software teams to integrate container technologies into development workflows.
- Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in containerization and cloud infrastructure.
- Document procedures, operational workflows, and best practices for container system management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience working with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Practical knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong grasp of microservices architecture and deployment patterns.
- Skill in using scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges in dynamic settings.
- Effective communication skills with experience collaborating in distributed teams.
Nice to Have
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering roles.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible is advantageous.
