Responsibilities
- Collaborate with State teams to oversee financial performance for the Property segment within the Small Commercial portfolio, tracking key indicators and recommending actions to improve profitability and expansion
- Conduct in-depth analysis of user experience, underwriting outcomes, and product effectiveness across Property offerings, delivering both immediate and long-range strategic insights
- Extract and interpret data to perform on-demand and structured evaluations of critical performance metrics, acting as the go-to resource for moderately complex to highly technical Property-related analyses
- Advance business objectives by leading cross-team initiatives focused on achieving growth and profit targets in both newly developed and current Property products
- Provide expert consultation on intricate business challenges and product design, including evaluating and suggesting modifications to Property product features
- Support market analysis efforts by tracking competitor activity, regulatory filings, and industry shifts using diverse research sources
- Contribute to the development of new product ideas and offer direct input into the strategic direction of Property offerings
- Lead individual or cross-departmental project teams on initiatives of moderate to high complexity with medium- to long-term timelines within the Property domain
- Develop reusable data tools and standardized queries to support cross-functional teams and junior analysts
- Create and present clear, compelling summaries of technical findings and data insights for key stakeholders, including senior leadership and executive roles
- Share expertise through mentoring discussions, knowledge transfer sessions, and potentially developing training content or leading formal instruction
- May supervise temporary staff or interns and could be tasked with onboarding and guiding newly hired team members
