About the Role
This position involves working closely with chemical industry clients to assess operational challenges, develop strategic improvement plans, and support execution of initiatives that deliver measurable results in efficiency, safety, and cost reduction.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate current production and operational workflows in chemical manufacturing environments
- Identify areas for performance improvement across safety, quality, and output metrics
- Develop data-driven strategies to optimize plant operations and supply chain logistics
- Collaborate with client teams to implement process enhancements and best practices
- Lead cross-functional improvement projects from planning through execution
- Conduct site assessments and benchmark operations against industry standards
- Support change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new processes
- Deliver detailed reports and presentations on findings and recommendations
- Monitor key performance indicators to track progress and impact
- Work with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels to align objectives
- Apply lean and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste
- Assist in designing training programs for operational staff
- Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Facilitate workshops and team sessions to gather insights and build consensus
- Translate technical data into actionable business insights
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of chemical industry trends and technologies
- Support project scoping and proposal development for new engagements
- Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple concurrent assignments
