About the Role
This role involves providing expert-level support and strategic direction for hemostasis products within clinical laboratories across South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. The consultant collaborates with lab professionals to optimize testing processes, ensure accurate diagnostics, and drive adoption of advanced technologies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical training on hemostasis instrumentation and assays to laboratory staff
- Collaborate with clinical teams to troubleshoot coagulation testing challenges
- Support implementation of new hemostasis systems in laboratory environments
- Conduct on-site evaluations of current testing workflows and recommend improvements
- Provide educational resources on best practices in coagulation analysis
- Assist in validating new hemostasis methods according to regulatory standards
- Act as a liaison between customers and technical support teams
- Gather and relay customer feedback to product development departments
- Promote awareness of clinical applications for hemostasis technologies
- Monitor post-installation performance and ensure sustained accuracy
- Coordinate with sales teams to align technical capabilities with customer needs
- Develop customized demonstration plans for laboratory-specific requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in coagulation science
- Support compliance with laboratory accreditation standards
- Track field activity and report outcomes to management
- Respond to urgent technical inquiries within defined service timelines
- Evaluate instrument performance data to identify optimization opportunities
- Deliver presentations at laboratory conferences or internal meetings
- Assist in the development of technical documentation and training materials
- Ensure consistent application of quality control procedures in client labs
