Responsibilities
- Plan and execute desktop reviews along with field surveys for habitats, plant life, protected species, and invasive non-native species
- Analyze, assess, interpret, and report ecological data, contributing to Ecological Impact Assessments and the development of effective mitigation plans
- Conduct protected species and habitat surveys safely; evaluate findings, assess ecological impacts, and create and apply appropriate mitigation measures
- Serve as an Ecological Clerk of Works on construction sites to ensure compliance with ecological considerations
