Optiv is hiring a Consultant - Cyberark to join our Identity Access Management (IAM) Services group and specialize in privileged access solutions. In this fully remote role, you will serve as a technical and consultative resource within the CyberArk Center of Excellence, leading or supporting deployment projects across the continental U.S.
What You'll Do
- Perform authoritatively as a CyberArk Consultant on all related technologies from a deployment perspective.
- Act as lead or supporting deployment engineer on CyberArk implementation projects.
- Provide troubleshooting services as part of project work or post-production support.
- Ensure requirements gathering and process definition prioritize out-of-the-box configuration.
- Participate in capacity planning and hardware specification recommendations.
- Engage in deployment activities, connector configuration, custom rule development, and third-party system integration.
- Lead or participate in User Acceptance Testing and bug-related engineering efforts.
- Design, implement, and educate on CyberArk processes and the principle of least privilege.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and post-production support activities.
- Provide feedback on internal processes to help train and mentor other deployment engineers.
- Contribute to building and improving the CyberArk COE Knowledge Base.
What We're Looking For
- Approximately 2-5 years of related work experience.
- Approximately 2-5 years of technical architecture experience.
- Expertise with one or more of our core technologies.
- Thorough understanding of large-scale environments.
- Knowledge of at least two security concepts and methods (e.g., vulnerability assessments, incident response, security policy creation).
- Strong presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Process-oriented approach with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent, detailed writing skills.
- Ability to obtain and evolve technical expertise and industry credentials through training.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CyberArk certifications.
- Proficiency in CyberArk and related technologies.
- Experience in system administration, scripting (JavaScript, Python), Rest API, LDAP directories, and Active Directory.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree.
- CyberArk Defender and CyberArk Sentry certifications.
- Related professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA.
