Responsibilities
- Perform weekly on-site quality audits to confirm contractor work aligns with approved designs, specifications, and quality control protocols.
- Assess the implementation of contractor Quality Management Systems, including testing procedures, material validation, and recordkeeping practices.
- Participate in project meetings and report on quality performance indicators relevant to project advancement and client reporting.
- Examine daily field operations, inspection test plans, work submissions, nonconformance reports, and corrective measures for accuracy and adherence to client standards.
- Collaborate with construction supervisors, project leads, engineers, safety personnel, design staff, and contractors to resolve field issues and prevent quality deviations.
- Record audit outcomes and observations in formal reports and maintain detailed quality tracking logs.
- Oversee corrective action follow-ups to ensure issues are resolved promptly and verified effectively.
- Engage in readiness assessments, pre-task briefings, and quality-focused sessions to support proactive quality assurance.
- Advance quality initiatives by analyzing performance data, identifying trends, and sharing insights across teams and work packages.
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations including FRA and FTA, BABA standards, and client-specific quality policies.

On-site — Baltimore, MD

- Requires substantial time spent in the field.
- Must be capable of wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Work is conducted both at the Integrated Project Office (IPO) and at various construction sites across Baltimore.
