Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of civil, structural, and utility projects to ensure on-time, under-budget results with high client satisfaction
- Assist in defining initial project scope and provide rough cost estimates based on customer needs
- Collect design and construction proposals from architects, engineers, vendors, and contractors
- Assess and compare competitive bids when applicable
- Verify proposal accuracy and identify opportunities for cost reduction or design improvement
- Advise on the optimal project approach based on technical and financial analysis
- Establish final project budgets and timelines
- Set up tracking and control systems for cost, schedule, and scope management
- Draft, administer, and close construction contracts with subcontractors across various trades
- Secure necessary approvals from local authorities, property owners, and government agencies
- Address design and construction issues on-site as they arise
- Monitor and authorize payment requests for completed work
- Oversee all field activities for multi-discipline construction efforts
- Collaborate with end users and facilities teams to support building operations and maintenance
- Supervise contractors working overnight or early morning shifts as required
- Take ownership of new construction assignments as business demands evolve
- Maintain tools, records, and digital filing systems for project organization
- Engage with contractors, fabricators, and internal stakeholders throughout project execution

On-site — Bastrop, TX (Austin Area)

- Physical ability to perform hands-on work in various environments, including heat, cold, rain, and tight quarters
- Ability to work onsite at our Bastrop, TX facility (Remote work not considered)
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel as needed
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
