AECOM is hiring a Construction Manager

Responsibilities

  • Direct multidisciplinary site teams and contractors to complete project scope within time, budget, and quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and enforce project execution plan, governance structure, roles, RACI, and reporting schedule.
  • Facilitate decision-making, address conflicts, and ensure alignment with client goals and contractual obligations.
  • Manage integrated baseline schedule and ensure logical sequencing (Primavera P6/MS Project).
  • Monitor progress using KPIs and earned value, conduct weekly look-ahead planning, and implement recovery plans as needed.
  • Coordinate interactions between civil, structural, architectural, MEP, utilities, and external stakeholders.
  • Supervise site setup, method statements, work permits, inspections, and quality hold points.
  • Review shop drawings/IFC alignment, handle RFIs/technical queries, and conduct constructability reviews.
  • Ensure safe execution, compliance with temporary works, and effective logistics and site coordination.
  • Promote a zero-harm culture; implement HSE plans, JSA/Job Hazard Analysis, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
  • Lead quality control per ITPs, material approvals, inspections, and nonconformance closure.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary on-site liaison for the client, statutory bodies, utilities, and third parties.
  • Conduct progress meetings, steering committee updates, and executive dashboards.
  • Maintain transparent communication with timely, accurate reporting and early warning notices.
