Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans, adapting them as needed throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching methods to support the varied learning needs of all students
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply evidence-based teaching strategies in planning and instruction
- Oversee and guide student conduct within the classroom setting
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Use approved curricula that respects students' diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Enforce established school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families to discuss their child's academic and emotional development
- Integrate technology into daily instruction to enhance student learning
- Support the organization of non-instructional school events when necessary
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by school administration

- Must reside in Ohio to maintain an active teaching license
- Completion of federal and state criminal background checks is mandatory
- Required to take part in non-instructional activities as needed
