Responsibilities
- Oversee international and national congress management and support business unit operations.
- Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of congress participation; coordinate with internal teams and international congress management to ensure alignment and regulatory compliance; manage relationships with external vendors.
- Develop and manage the congress budget to ensure cost-effective resource use; monitor expenses and provide regular financial reports to senior management; negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Serve as the primary contact for healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and other stakeholders attending congresses; ensure effective communication and collaboration with all parties.
- Ensure all congress activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards; maintain accurate records of congress activities, including attendee lists.
- Handle contract creation, coordination, implementation, and documentation; serve as backup for other contract management team members when needed.
- Support the Business Unit Director with internal and external meeting organization, including meeting invites, hotel bookings, travel and dinner bookings; provide onsite support for selected events; assist with the Business Unit Director's travel expense forms.
