Responsibilities
- Monitor and record conformed units and installations on flight test aircraft.
- Offer feedback, support, and ongoing enhancements to manufacturing processes.
- Stay aware of aircraft deviations or non-conformances, documenting, escalating, and aiding in timely resolution.
- Collaborate with the Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) and supply necessary documentation for airworthiness certificates.
- Drive continuous improvement in conformity and configuration maintenance activities.
- Work closely with departments such as manufacturing, quality, airworthiness, and configuration management to align aircraft configuration and conformity with program goals.
- Address configuration and conformity issues on the manufacturing floor.
- Advise manufacturing and quality team members on configuration control and conformity.
- Serve as the point of contact for the aircraft during certification and Type Inspection Authorization (TIA) test flights.
- Identify and resolve issues collaboratively with manufacturing, quality, and airworthiness teams.
- Generate reports and metrics to monitor conformity status and program progress.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in aviation, focusing on quality assurance, manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical field; Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering preferred.
- Familiarity with aircraft conformity processes is highly desirable.
- Experience with Type Certification, especially under Part 23 or 27, preferred.
- Knowledge of aviation manufacturing and inspection processes.
- Skills in problem solving, communication, coordination, and technical writing.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory documents.
- Proficiency in standard office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Additional education or certifications in aviation maintenance, quality, or related technical fields are a plus.
- Knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 23, 25, 27, and 29 regulations, policies, and guidance materials.
- Knowledge of ASTM, RTCA, and SAE standards.
- Basic understanding of operations, pilot licensing, and mechanic licensing regulations and certification processes.
- Familiarity with Dassault, Atlassian, and Polarian software tools.
- Pilot experience or other experience with aircraft flight operations.
- Familiarity with Smartsheets.
- Familiarity with JIRA.

Compensation
