Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain comprehensive compliance frameworks that support adherence to U.S. and global regulations, internal policies, and ethical guidelines.
- Evaluate operational activities to detect compliance vulnerabilities in domestic and international business functions, and create plans to reduce identified risks.
- Collaborate with the Contracts Manager to verify that vendor and customer agreements meet legal and compliance standards, including data security, export laws, and conflict disclosures.
- Create and update organizational policies addressing anti-corruption laws (FCPA/UKBA), data protection (GDPR, CCPA), export controls (EAR/ITAR), and document retention requirements.
- Design and deliver training initiatives to educate employees on compliance responsibilities, ethical behavior, and internal reporting channels.
- Lead inquiries into suspected compliance breaches, oversee corrective measures, and work with legal and human resources to enforce accountability.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory bodies and auditors, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely responses during inspections or certification processes.
- Support integration of technology solutions to monitor compliance activities such as training completion, certification status, and risk evaluations.
- Work with cross-departmental teams in Finance, Human Resources, and Operations to integrate compliance safeguards into daily operations and strategic decisions.

- Lead Corporate and International Compliance Frameworks: Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance programs that align with domestic and international regulations, corporate policies, and ethical standards.
- Monitor and Assess Compliance Risks: Identify areas of potential legal or regulatory exposure across commercial and international operations; develop mitigation strategies and corrective action plans.
- Support Contracting and Procurement Compliance: Partner with the Contracts Manager to ensure that agreements align with compliance requirements (e.g. data protection clauses, export restrictions, conflict of interest certifications) and reflect applicable risk-management principles.
- Develop Compliance Policies and Procedures: Draft and maintain company-wide compliance policies covering areas such as anti-bribery (FCPA/UKBA), data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), export control (EAR/ITAR), and recordkeeping.
- Conduct Compliance Training and Awareness: Design and deliver engaging training programs to increase employee awareness of compliance obligations, ethical conduct, and reporting mechanisms.
- Identify, Investigate, and Resolve Compliance Issues: Lead internal investigations of potential violations, coordinate remediation activities, and partner with legal and HR teams to ensure consistent enforcement.
- Coordinate with External Regulators and Auditors: Manage responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, or certifications, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
- Implement Compliance Monitoring Tools: Support deployment of automated systems to track required certifications, training completion, and risk assessments.
- Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments including, Finance, HR, and Operations to embed compliance controls in business workflows and decision-making.
