Proactive Talent Solutions is hiring a Compliance Executive

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a risk-focused strategy for managing money laundering and terrorist financing risks, including routine assessments during customer onboarding
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable local and international laws, regulations, and compliance standards
  • Evaluate current internal controls related to AML/CFT policies, risk management frameworks, and procedural guidelines
  • Notify the Compliance Officer of significant business risks or breaches of internal policies, legal requirements, or industry standards
  • Follow established protocols for reporting suspicious activities
  • Serve as the point of contact with regulatory bodies when the Compliance Officer is unavailable
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate the development, update, and review of compliance policies, procedures, training resources, and internal communications
  • Collaborate closely with the Compliance Officer, senior management, and team members
  • Submit regulatory filings and required documents in the absence of the Compliance Officer
  • Participate in self-audits and ongoing compliance monitoring initiatives
  • Ensure the organization meets all statutory AML/CFT obligations and maintains strong safeguards against financial crime
  • Lead and support onboarding reviews and continuous compliance monitoring activities
  • Suggest corrective actions or enhancements based on findings from compliance evaluations
  • Mentor and guide new compliance team members, assess performance, and provide feedback to leadership
  • Foster a collaborative and engaged team environment
  • Perform administrative and support tasks essential to the Compliance and Risk functions
  • Assume responsibility for the Compliance department during the Compliance Officer's absence and escalate matters to executive leadership when necessary
  • Conduct transaction monitoring and supervise monitoring performed by administrators to ensure alignment with company procedures and legal requirements
  • Complete timesheets accurately and in accordance with company policy
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including project management and special assignments
  • Carry out any other related responsibilities delegated by the reporting Compliance Officer

Other

  • Must be capable of engaging with regulatory authorities when the Compliance Officer is not available
  • Must be prepared to supervise the Compliance team in the absence of the Compliance Officer
  • Must escalate critical issues to the Chief Executive Officer when necessary
