About the Role
The individual in this position will support People Operations with a focus on regulatory compliance and strategic benefits management, ensuring policies and practices align with legal requirements and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist People Operations with an emphasis on employment compliance and benefits strategy.
- Monitor changes in federal, state, and local labor laws to ensure organizational compliance.
- Manage regulatory reporting and documentation requirements.
- Develop and revise workplace policies and update the employee handbook as needed.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave programs.
- Act as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and life events.
- Coordinate benefits enrollment and changes with third-party providers and brokers.
- Propose enhancements to benefit offerings based on employee feedback and survey results.
- Ensure employee data in the HRIS is accurate and up to date.
