Responsibilities
- Evaluate Know Your Customer alerts, biometric discrepancies, and possible fraudulent activity using government databases such as RENAPO, SAT, and INE, along with identity verification platforms like Jumio and Persona.
- Assist in preparing and filing Reportes de Operaciones Relevantes (ROR), Reportes de Operaciones Inusuales (ROI), and Reportes Internos Preocupantes (ROIP) through the SPPLD system, and support responses to inquiries from CNBV, SAT/UIF, and law enforcement agencies.
- Analyze potentially suspicious transactions, track alerts related to PEPs, sanctions lists, and adverse media, and escalate findings based on risk level.
- Contribute to improving transaction monitoring and reporting mechanisms to identify and address new compliance risks.
- Collaborate with internal departments to reinforce anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing safeguards and align business processes with regulatory standards.
- Support communication with regulators, external auditors, and financial institution partners to maintain transparency and regulatory alignment.
