Kimley-Horn was looking for a Compensation Systems Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough quality assurance and quality control checks on compensation models and pay structures to detect inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or data irregularities, and drive process enhancements to minimize errors.
  • Design, manage, and verify sophisticated spreadsheets and financial models used in compensation planning, including salary forecasting, merger and acquisition pay modeling, and workforce cost projections.
  • Develop, refine, and automate reporting dashboards to track compensation metrics and improve data visibility.
  • Support improvements in compensation systems, particularly UKG Pro, by testing, debugging, and validating outputs, and lead automation initiatives to reduce manual work and improve data integrity.
  • Ensure all compensation data handling complies with internal controls, organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and applicable legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive, standardized documentation for compensation processes including bonuses, salary adjustments, and promotions, and help develop scalable tools and templates.
  • Collaborate with compensation analysts, HR, finance, and IT teams to align data practices, provide timely review feedback during compensation cycles, and promote knowledge sharing and consistent methodologies.
