About the Role
The analyst will evaluate compensation structures, conduct benefits assessments, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making in human resources.
Responsibilities
- Analyze salary data to ensure competitive positioning
- Support the administration of health, retirement, and paid time off programs
- Prepare reports for internal and external compensation surveys
- Assist in the annual review of job classifications and pay bands
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment regulations affecting pay and benefits
- Collaborate with HR teams to implement compensation initiatives
- Conduct data validation to ensure payroll accuracy
- Monitor benefits enrollment trends and employee utilization
- Develop dashboards to track key compensation metrics
- Assist in preparing materials for executive compensation reviews
- Evaluate equity and incentive plans for fairness and effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay and benefits
- Support open enrollment processes with clear communication materials
- Identify opportunities to improve benefits offerings
- Partner with third-party vendors on benefits administration
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data
- Use HRIS systems to manage compensation records
- Perform ad hoc analyses for special projects
- Stay current with industry trends in total rewards
Nice to Have
- Certification in compensation or HR (e.g., CCP, PHR)
- Experience in professional services or consulting firms
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups
- Familiarity with Workday or similar HR systems
- Background in statistical analysis or modeling
