Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with 3–5+ years focused on institutional real estate sectors such as asset or fund management, real estate banking, insurance, or high-level advisory services for these clients.
- Proven track record in owning and developing an enterprise sales pipeline from initiation through to close, including proactive outbound engagement and consultative deal execution.
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise software sales, preferably as a quota-carrying representative; alternatively, senior-level experience as a software buyer transitioning into a commercial role.
- Solid grasp of institutional real estate operations, including fund structures, asset management practices, capital expenditure planning, and relationships between limited partners, general partners, and asset managers.
- Experience engaging and influencing C-level and N-1 executives, managing complex procurement processes, and navigating committee-based decision-making structures.
- Operates as a self-starter focused on acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships over multi-year cycles, with a focus on renewals and growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a decentralized, remote-first startup environment; comfortable with 25–50% travel and driven by performance incentives including variable compensation and VSOP.
- Experience collaborating with Marketing, PR, and Communications to shape go-to-market messaging and campaigns, and to inform product development through market insights.
- Regular use of AI tools in commercial workflows such as market research, deal preparation, lead prioritization, and information synthesis.
- Active participation in industry networks such as ZIA, RICS, INREV, or ULI, with demonstrated ability to leverage presence for lead generation and market credibility.
- Fluency in both German and English, including business communication and written proficiency.
- Holds a valid EU or German work permit.

Required (12)

- Proven ability to own and build enterprise pipeline end-to-end (not only executing inbound) and to close complex, consultative deals.
- Demonstrated enterprise software sales experience (preferred: quota-carrying seller; acceptable: senior buyer of enterprise software who later moved into a commercial role).
- Strong understanding of institutional real estate decision processes, such as fund & asset management, Capex & budget planning, and LP–GP–Asset Manager dynamics.
- Track record selling into or managing senior stakeholders (C-level / N-1), navigating multi-stakeholder groups, procurement and committee-driven decisions.
- Comfortable operating as a hunter–builder: landing new logos and driving expansion/renewals over multi-year (1–3 years) customer relationships.
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and autonomous: operates effectively in a remote-first, early-stage setup; willing to travel 25–50%; motivated by performance-based upside (high variable + VSOP) rather than high fixed security.
- Experience shaping GTM narratives and campaigns with Marketing / PR / Comms, and translating market insight into Product roadmap improvements.
- Practical use of AI tools in your own commercial workflow (e.g. research, preparation, prioritisation, synthesis)
- Active involvement and credibility in relevant associations / networks (e.g., ZIA, RICS, INREV, ULI) and ability to use industry presence to generate leads and build category trust.
- Fluent in German and English (business & written).
