OPSWAT is hiring a Commercial Account Executive (Northeast)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire new-business sales process from initial outreach to contract finalization, including prospecting, needs assessment, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Focus on acquiring and converting commercial clients with annual revenue under $1.5 billion in sectors such as banking, fintech, insurance, technology, and manufacturing.
  • Generate a consistent flow of qualified leads through proactive outbound efforts, partner coordination, event participation, and professional networking.
  • Present product demonstrations that clearly communicate how secure file and device protection reduces risk, strengthens operations, and supports regulatory compliance.
  • Create and execute territory plans to enter new markets, deepen client relationships, and increase revenue growth.
  • Design account-specific strategies to expand within current customers by gaining alignment across departments and leadership levels.
  • Work with marketing teams on industry-specific campaigns, lead generation initiatives, and event planning to drive demand.
  • Coordinate with technical sales, product management, and customer success teams to ensure accurate solution alignment and seamless transition after sale.
  • Keep sales forecasts and pipeline data up to date in the CRM system with precision and consistency.
  • Serve as a company representative at industry conferences, trade shows, and local networking forums.
  • Monitor evolving cybersecurity threats, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments affecting target verticals.
